Bleeding Control Kit $115

A first aid kit with a red bag, bandages, scissors, gloves, a first aid guide, notebooks, and a marker.
Bleeding Control Kit

The number one cause of preventable death after injury is bleeding.  Serious bleeding is more likely to result from everyday injuries that occur at home, at work or on the road, than from a ghastly incident.

A number of these items (especially - but not limited to - the tourniquet) require knowledge and training for proper and effective application.  We strongly urge you to find and participate in a Stop the Bleed course.  For more information visit www.dhs.gov/stopthebleed.

Contact BMFPD, Boulder County Public Health, or local hospital to inquire about training.

A red first aid kit labeled "Bleeding Control" with a red cross symbol, black straps, and a buckle.
